The following message has been issued by Cheshire West and Chester Library. The closure is regrettable but is necessary because of work going on at the school.
Temporary closure of Tarporley Library
Tarporley Library will be closed during the Easter holidays due to building work taking place at Tarporley High School.
The Library will be closed for two weeks from Monday 1 April to Friday 12 April.
During the temporary library closure all loans will be extended and won’t be due back. Residents will also be able to use other Cheshire West and Chester Libraries and access services online.
Councillor Louise Gittins, Cabinet Member for Communities and Wellbeing said:
“We apologise for any inconvenience during the temporary closure but customers are very welcome to use any of our other libraries, including nearby Tarvin, Tattenhall, Sandiway and Winsford Libraries.
“Customers can also search, reserve and renew items on-line, at any time of the day or night, on the Council website.”
Opening hours of all libraries are available online and if required items can be renewed online or by phone 24 hours a day:
