Cotebrook residents have two things to celebrate. The first is the revamped and vastly improved village hall seen above just before its official opening by the High Sheriff of Cheshire, local resident, Alexis Redmond MBE. It is a wonderful achievement for a small community and was driven by a small team of dedicated volunteers.
The reborn Village Hall is in constant use by a pre-school group, the (Utkinton and Cotebrook) Parish Council, zumba classes and has space for hire as well. The website is http://www.cotebrookvillagehall.co.uk/ or you can ring Judith on 01829 760513 0r email firstname.lastname@example.org
The second piece of good news is that at the next election; probably the local elections in May this year, this will be a polling station. Instead of having to get themselves to Utkinton to vote Cotebrook residents can do it much nearer to home in future. This follows representations by me to the Audit and Governance Committee of Cheshire West and Chester and I was delighted to win this. Lets hope there isn’t a snap General Election in the meantime!
If you do want a postal vote you can apply for one here…Email: email@example.com for an application form. Applications for the May elections close at 5pm on the 15th April 2018
